It's almost as if when you make something illegal there are unintended consequences. They alter the THC molecule so that it's legal. The problem is THC by itself can be a fukked up depressant anxiety causing drug. When you smoke marijuana you're also getting cbd, terpenes and other cannabinoids mixed with THC. THC by itself is not good, let alone when you alter the chemical composition to pass the illegality of it

I happen to be pretty well versed in this....two of my friends were in that industry, I saw it first hand.
Spice, K2, "bathsalt" are primarily consumed by the underclasses, who can't afford "real weed", and soon become addicted to the more intense high of synthetic marijuana, which is essentially leafs sprayed with acetone. Bathsalt was methlomine, methodrone mixed and cut with a numbing agent, like Lidocaine, Procaine, put into containers with labels like Scarface and Nose Candy.
That is why the overdoses happen in places with real poverty disparities, it is sold primarily retail level by liquor stores and gas stations.
What happened the other day, appears to be K2 with apparent fentanynl added, thought that may not be the case. A wrong cut, or too much acetone, or whatever will contaminate the whole batch. It happens in San Diego too, though since the DEA crackdown, it has been on the downturn.

This happened in Houston. There was "Kush korner" were a bunch of homeless people were ODing in a park on this stuff.
