Yoooooo, I just unexpectedly received $1900 from a class action suit I signed up for over a year ago.

they are talking about this all over reddit now in the classaction sub, but I completely forgot that I signed up for this. then a little while ago, I get this text message from BOA saying they sent me some bread.



I've signed up for countless class action suits over the years, but this is by far the LARGEST amount I've ever received at once. the previous high was a single payout of like $700 from some sort of asian airlines ticket lawsuit.

u don't need a BoA. you could have used any method of payment from paper check to zelle, to ACH wire or even paypal. this has nothing to do with the particular bank.

I signed up to be part of a class action suit last summer, and I guess they got it all settled and are dividing the $40M judgement between the folks who filed a claim.

yeah, I been doing it for many years. usually, I get hit with $20-$200 every so often. other times, I get a paper check in the mail. kinda like winning a scratch off.
