notice the word ONLY
he never said hate all AAA games... or AAA aren't the shyt...
all he said is what i've been saying forever...
who the hell buys a system, then ONLY counts AAA exclusives as games... same argument since day 1... "yea but what exclusives you putting out" "yea but where's the games"
as if multiplats and smaller indie games aren't playable on the system.. of course you gonna put AAA above all, cause that's what AAA is about.. but that doesn't mean you suddenly start counting them as the only games that count for a system.. that is a little weird
I wouldn't even put AAA above all. It really all depends on what the games are really. Some non AAA games are every bit as fun and gameplay fulfilling (if not even moreso) than some AAA games are and some AAA games are a bust too. Not to mention that the line of AAA is a lil blurry anyway. Not every game with a AAA budget makes for a AAA caliber title.

Why the hell y'all want so many AAA games? Go play mercenary kings or something"A AAA game should be just that "AAA". A game thats rare, takes time and care and you can tell they really put time into it. Square used to be the kings of this in the 90's - 2000's. You knew you had about a 5-year window on the next Final Fantasy but when it dropped you KNEW it was gonna be good. and from about 1994 - 2003-ish this was gaming ethos.
The yearly x-mas/black friday crunch also killed gaming. Assassins Creed 2 is one of the best games i have ever played, but 3 was so depressing because i could tell they just needed to get it out. It wasn't rushed but you can tell they are making it up as they go instead of taking that extra 2 or 3 months for JUST story boarding and story development, the tech isnt the issue anymore. In fact, Brotherhood and Revelations prolly should have been one game.
I'm ok with a next instalment taking 2 years if i know i'm gonna get quality...just don't piss around like SquareEnix with FF XV
Fixed.
