Why do we still go by African-American when no other Ethnicity does that?
I've met greeks, italians, albanians, scottish, indian, vietnamiese people and guess what
NONE of them would ever call themselves greek-american, albanian-american, scottish-american, indian-american
African-American is just a term made up by white america to keep you distanced from the fact that YOU ARE AFRICAN

Basically because of how far removed from African culture to the point we've developed our own.

Kinda like how Samoans have African Ancestry, but are more favorable of their own customs and traditions associated with Pacific Islanders.

Because AFRAMS are not African, Many AFRAMS have white blood in them while a true african wouldn't have a single drop. If you are 25% cac you can't say you are african.Africans and African Americans are completely different culturally.
