I'm from the old school of thought. Treat others as you would like to be treated. So if I see a person coming when I get on, I hold the door open for them. There is no place I need to be in such a hurry that I can't wait less than a minutes worth of time to help another person out.

I have noticed young people are very self-centered these days and some are even very proud of that fact.
