that's because the new school never came in after pun, cam, dmx, eminem, etc. instead, we got more half-assed rappers than anything. there were a few moments of greatness like rocafella, and cash money, but besides that, it's been pretty forgettable. there's been alot of talent in the underground but it will never reach the days of rawkus records being on the radio again.

. The 90/s got that gold age on lock, 00s got the aluminum age, 10's boutta come back twice as hard with thrice the classics. But let these

And that joint came out in like 99 or 2000. As for hip hop being dead? I dunno, I don't f*ck with most of the new artists but there is still talent out there. I think to me, the last great hip hop movement was Dipset. After that, I didn't care for it as much.
