This is one of the most ridiculous things people say. It doesn't matter if it's the first minute of the game or the last minute, the officials should just make the correct call according to the rules.

None of this "let them play" just because there's a few minutes left in the game crap. If you're not calling something that should be getting called, the other team is getting screwed.

This line of thinking that many people have.......:what:.

I won't get into that, but you're talking about an actual rule that was applied correctly, and was called against the Patriots earlier in the season. Poor rule, but at the time it was the correct call.

Even in the game tonight, some people didn't want the officials to call that hold on Eric Fisher because of the time in the game. That's the line of thinking I hate.

It depends. If it's borderline, then no the ref shouldn't throw it if it's going to have a major impact on the game. However if it is a clear penalty, throw the flag.

Same shyt happens in the NBA tho. Dudes just out there fighting for the win when the game is on the line last minute, I agree with the "let them play" shyt and let the best man win at that point unless it's something flagrant
