The Chi (South Side)
kansas city was not the braves..

the braves had 2 nfl players brian jordan n prime..

plus bo didnt have one 1000 season...bo was good..but dikkerson was shyttin on em

only reason bo wasn't getting 1000 yard seasons regularly is cuz he didn't start playing football til mid october once the baseball season was over. and even then, he played with marcus allen so he had to split carries as well

Can someone tell me how this ended? That stupid ass Heisman ceremony leaked into my recording causing it to go over the time limit.

It cut off right when he hit the home run for his moms.

I really liked this 30 for 30, it gave me a new found respect for Bo as not only an athlete but a man as well. His peak was a little before my time but I remember his marketing campaign and rocked the Bo knows shirt as a youngn and had the poster of him in the different sports gear. It's a damn shame he went out the way he did, but gave us so many 'oh my' moments in that period of time.

Growing up in KC I was a HUGE Bo fan. Hated seeing him on the Raiders going against the Chiefs.

Am I the only one who wishes he would've devoted himself full-time to football?

I think he was better at football than baseball. He was a good baseball player, but he could have been a GREAT football player. If he was playing 16 game seasons and getting the necessary carries, he would've had some monster seasons.

He was already 28 when he got hurt, so it's not like he had 10 years left at his athletic peak. So he's not as much of a "what if" to me in that respect.

I think more than the injury, it was his prioritizing baseball over football (yeah, I know the Tampa Bay thing kind of led to that) that really robbed us.
