I had a friend tell me that everyone's name is in all caps on their DL because we are a corporation...and other things.
They also say paying taxes aren't a requirement...

The only way you are getting out of paying taxes with a penalty is dying.I did a little bit more reading (just wikipedia) about sovereign citizenship. While you can argue about this stuff all day long and probably get away with it, you are also what the government and, more directly, the police view as the most dangerous type of terrorist.

It's funny to see black people in this video because this idea actually came out of white extremist militias as a result of the 14th amendment (again, paraphrasing wiki, I'm no expert).I don't know if I agree with all the logic these types of people use but it is refreshing, and a bit strange, to see someone not even challenge the law. They are flat out saying that the law doesn't exist.

I just think it's funny how people would try to circumvent these contracts for no good reason. Like, what does it benefit you to operate this way? I get the principal of it, but I fail to see a pro from looking at things this way. Unless, of course, you are already in trouble with the law.
Skated through 10 years in the States with no license, just kept renewing the permit. It worked.Looking back though I should have just gotten a license.

I can see getting by without a license in NYC area, but that's only because you don't have to drive unless it's for work. I was there for a week and a half, and I got around fine without a rental car (granted, I was only in Manhattan and N. Bergen, NJ; might be different in the more trill areas ).
If you live in MO like I do, you need a car to get around, period. And as over-eager as police and State Troopers are here, driving without a license is idiotic.
