Hispanic though if she wanted to, she could have passed for white. I blame myself. The signs were there (her parents and so on) but I ignored them and made up excuses in my head because she was % . It's kind of crazy but here goes:
She led me to believe that she was mixed (part black/white - she pretty much said this and talked about her "black roots" from time to time too) when she really wasn't (she was more or less white). She basically pulled a Rachel Dolezal. When I met her parents (briefly), her dad was black and her mother white/hispanic, and her younger brother looking mixed (I only met him once much later on since he lived in another state).

Everything seemed fine at first.

Turns out, however, the black guy that I thought was her biological father was just her stepdad (she never mentioned that). The younger brother was actually his biological son...from a previous relationship (she never mentioned that either). The girl I was dating was actually the guy's step-daughter, biological daughter of the white/hispanic mother I mentioned earlier.....that she had with a whole ass white guy in a previous relationship (her actual father). I found out by accident when talking to the younger brother and he commented on visiting his biological mother and talked about the divorce his dad went through. He then talked about his step-mom and how great it was for both families to come together and all that. Had me like then then then on some "that explains a lot " .

It was all very embarrassing. It all could have been avoided if someone mentioned the divorce but it somehow collectively slipped everyone's mind until much later.

i be using the apps when i'm out of town and want a tour guide or someone local to chill with. i don't use it locally or to date so perhaps im wrong for that lol.

but one dude i met had his athlete/gym pics on profile. and he was already heavy in the pic but buff so i choose him or whatever cuz football dudes are usually a good dumbed down time, respectfully, which is perfect for oot vibes.

but then i met him and he was clearly like... not in playing shape... and mind you he was already thicc in playing shape, but at least buff lol.

didn't matter in the end, i would have been his friend regardless but he caught an attitude because he clearly trying to smash so that was the end of that chapter
