You every wonder what retirement homes will be like when we get old?

I imagine it's gonna be way different for us. I bet we'll have LAN parties, smoking and playing Halo n shyt, listening to Lil John and the Eastside Boyz on the weekend, passing around STDs like spam because we're too old to give a fukk anymore, trolling young people online.

I probably won't be in a home, but if I have to be, it's gonna be crazy. What do yall think?

i think most people won't make it to an old age. people are becoming more flabbier than ever

I think in-home care will rise in popularity. As a society, we're not as social as past generations because of tech, social media, etc. With the rise of WFH and all the ancillary services that cater to the in-home crowd, I just don't see retirement/nursing homes being popular past generation X.

The people who will be in these places may be the poor and indigent through Medicaid who don't have the resources to provide in-home care for themselves.
