i would start a movie production company
and wash the movie with fake foreign investors
people having trouble getting USA citizenship
let me explain-
a good friend of mine is an immigration attorney
some of those clients are very suspect
they need to fabricate an entire backstory
and even then it isn't enough to pass muster
so...you can buy an american citizenship for $1M investment that creates jobs
(seriously - look it up)
find five clients who are willing to put up $200k/ea
they file false paperwork saying they are investing $1m in my movie production company (that will meet special criteria)
i take their $200k (less the attorneys cut) and put it with $800k dirty money
now we have $1m to produce a low-budget movie
i hire a bunch of unknowns and they make a movie
but here's the trick- i give them only $100k
meanwhile i form some companies and fabricate paperwork
acting like $1m was spent-
sending money to legit dummy companies that are ultimately under my control these companies are paid for services never performed (or dramatically overpaid for basic services)
then those dummy companies pay taxes on that money, etc.
the strawman investor gets a note saying movie lost money
voila-
at the end i own 5 low-budget movies
they can be anything horror, feel good movies with a message, whatever
i make an effort to sell the movies, etc.
might make a profit if the movies are actually good
otherwise i'm still keeping most of the $5m
