As I understand it, he apologized for it and slowly earned the respect of his teammates with his play and the way he carried himself in the locker room.

He was 2nd on the team in receiving yards (to DeSean Jackson).

Whether he is sincerely sorry, probably only the people close to him and the team can speak on that.
