This has been a great music making experience for me. I have been working on the past two homework assignments and I think I did pretty well. The community is small and close-knit at this point, but its growing everyday.
Basically, Tasherre Risay, the guy who runs the site, gives the participants a homework assignment each week that is used to broaden and develop their skills. It forces me to study styles (which I already do), but its a good thing to get 1-on-1 feedback as well as be a part of a supportive group of producers. Some are old, some are new, some are from the states and some aren't. He makes a video and podcast for the entries at the beginning of the week, and there is also a review show by one of the users.
There is a small subscription fee, but its definitely worth it. We had a Skype-like session a few days ago and it was really really cool.
