The storyline of the two former evolution members facing each other was far more compelling, just purely from a literary academic's point of view, rich history, layers to the story...

When he won the rumble I was legit he's done nothing of importance for an year+ now, but I see it's just Vince giving the to the smarks to remind them he runs the show and they will watch it no matter

Yeah I figured. I just don't see it from a historic perspective. Maybe some years back but not these days. I don't mind having old wcw stars have their mania shine but it's a whole new era now. They just trying to capitalize on the video game. Didn't sting have something similar? He came in, got pushed to the front and got a title shot and retired back again. Same gonna happen with Goldberg. And they done buried Brock so much that putting the title on him would diminish its value. Not like the sd title match projections are much better either.
