I somehow had this album too, I don't know what scam I ran on my Mom or Dad, or where I got the money, but I had "My Way" on CD.
So 90's. The goggles to the side. That "Nice & Slow" video. Usher's real first album is classic too, but I didn't hear it until I was in my 20's, I always thought of My Way as his debut.
In 1997, 98, you couldn't turn on the radio and not hear "My Way", "You Make Me Wanna", "Nice & Slow", I want to say I heard Nice & Slow, and had to have the album. The kind of forbidden sexuality and explicit lyrics. That's true coming of age music for me.
