Being ambitious and having goals is not the same as bag chasing. Having a vision for your future that brings contentment is healthy and fulfilling. Constantly focusing on your pockets - including, either consciously or subconsciously, those of others - and having a fixation on securing “the bag” is corny and a reflection of poor character.

Bag chasing is a byproduct of social media, a symptom of repeated exposure to material excess, real and embellished.
