I'm usually when I see mentally ill people cuttin up in public. I'm prepared if need be, but 95% of the time they're just good entertainment. You gotta laugh at em along with having sympathy.

When I was growing up there was this white guy in the area who would just be in the street shouting all kinds of abuse at anyone who passed. You’d see this guy all busted up with black eyes and shyt but he never cooled out

My Dad is a serious guy. I got stabbed as a teenager, I didnt find out till years later that after he took me to the hospital he drove around til he found the bredda that stabbed me and fukked him up. He always taught me if a man ever disrespects you guve him a reason to never try that shyt again

One time (I musta been 7 or 8) crazy white guy got all in my Dad face calling us n*ggers and shyt. My Dad let him finish, looked him dead in eye for a few seconds then took my hand and we walked away.

Afterwards I told my Dad he shoulda knocked him out. My Dad said ‘That man is mentally ill. He can’t control the way he behaves, it’s not his fault.’

I think that’s the reason I’d had patience when I’ve had similar encounters later in life

This happens fairly often to me taking the subway and it's best to ignore and keep distance. You can't reason with some people.

You have a good father. Don't forget to let him know that every once in a while. I have a serious father as well and while I don't know the kind of relationship you two have, I do know that although serious fathers are the types that never seek or expect that kind of praise/approval deep down inside it's appreciated and reassuring to him.

I'd like euthanasia for "violent mentally ill people".

The truly crazy ones in my experience arent violent and are just crazy.

But if you are crazy and are violent coz you have no self control then you should be humanely put down. For the sake of everyone else.

I say this as someone who has close blood relatives with mental health issues.

If you plead insanity for your crimes you should also be put down for the greater good of society.

Just walk away from a mentally ill person. You can't reason with them so just walk away unless there is a threat of violence ...

Most times I just ignore but if they get in my personal space I’m rocking their world.

I was on M street in NE DC one time & some cracked out fakkit in a dress started saying something to me. I ignore the thing & it got closer so I told it to back up before I make them regret it. That’s the only time you should engage otherwise ignore em

Aslong as they don’t get close just ignore them.

Reminds me of when I was eating pizza in Union Square and this mentally I'll nikka was in the area. He was talking to himself, some people got up and moved to other benches. I stayed up and continued eating my pizza...


Then I hear him say "Yeah, fukk nikka, keep eating that pizza " had me like as I never acknowledged him
