Nah but seriously you could encourage people to donate by giving them access to a hidden nsfw forum. Or better yet a forum with open links to movies and shyt. I'm saying that to me sounds like a win - win marketing scheme

nah, I actually hate those kinda schemes where you have to pay money to get access to shyt.

if anything make it limited to post count. but then that just gives way to people shytposting just to get the post count to access the hidden forums. Plus board culture ain't even at a level where we have exclusive content that warrants hidden forums . Not to mention we already got guides on how acquire any movie/music/porn you want thru torrents/newsgroups...

I was actually thinking of allhiphop actually. Years ago they had 2 secret forums, one for mods and one for certain members. It's not like most people would know and it's just an extra perk for donating. Look at it like this, not everybody can have mod powers and people still post. Are people gonna stop posting if generous members get more access?

we'll try to come up with someway to reward everyone who's donating but i dont think this will be the way.

as much as everyone, including myself loves links and downloading, we don't want to be known as a pirating forum. theres plenty of other sites/methods that do that more effectively than we'll ever be able to (foreign servers & shyt like that). the govt is after filesharing sites and forums are on their radar, which is not where we want to be.

i personally think that glowing shyt looks hideous. we'll find some incentives though.

i know yall dont wanna hear this but, eventually we're going to have ads on here to help pay for the server. they wont be everywhere and it wont be pop ups or noises or anything like that. i'll make it so anyone who donates won't see them
