You shouldn't date someone while going through a divorce?

Me and my oldest sister were talking and it led to one of our many debates that we have.

She was talking about how one of her ex-boyfriends got another short pregnant while going through a divorce and how she still thinks he's a "good guy" even tho that happened. (I dont get why that wouldn't make him a good guy tho )

She says while going through a divorce you shouldn't fukk with anyone else until its final. I saw otherwise of course.

Why should a person sit in limbo because someone wants to call off the marriage? Especially if you know yall are done. Ex.the spouse cheated or yall just dont love each other anymore.

What yall think brehs/brehettes?

A guy I know started dating a girl last August (2014).
She was in the middle of processing her divorce and splitting up funds (she owned a house with her ex-husband)

In January of this year, he said he was going to propose.

I was like

Hey man, if you're happy...

He proposed in June of this year.

In August he called me up on a Friday night as I was having drinks at my boy's house.
He asked if he could crash at my place because he got into a fight with his fiance.



I said "sure".

He never did call me back tho.
I guess he went cowering back.
