Izzo has a job for life, only way he leaves is if he chooses to. It's been multiple years where he has taken a squad ( including this year) past expectations.

I get sick of these coaches complaining about the pressure to win. They all have the option of coaching at D2 or D3 where there is much more job security but a lot less money. You can't have it both ways. If you want the million dollar contracts, then you have deal with the pressure to win big.

His job should be secure. His tourney resume is among the best in terms of making the tourney and advancing beyond the initial weekend.
But it has been 13 years...![]()
