Because Mexico is a poorer nation than the US and it’s full of brown-skinned Spanish-speaking people whereas Canada is a wealthy and majority white country full of native/fluent English-speakers.
It’s a Racial chess move from the Republicant’s. They also want to invade Canada for logistical and economic purposes.
The maga political advisers around Trump want to increase the white population in the USA by any means necessary. They saw the current demographics of America and are worried about the future. They are making moves to slow down and delay their demographic decline. Of course, that’s why they don’t want to invade and annex Mexico and incorporate into America the very same population they look down on and want to expel out of the country. They want to deport as much Mexicans as possible, they don’t want to take 100 million more Mexicans in the country.
Canada is also a country with very rich natural resources.
Canada is the third ranked country in the world with the most fresh/drinkable water reserves, the fifth ranked country when it comes to oil reserves and oil exports, the fifth ranked nation in natural gas reserves, production and exportation. The fourth biggest gold producer and the seventh biggest gold exporter in the world. The 8th biggest iron ore producer. The 10th biggest steel, copper coal and silver producer on earth.
Canada is a country with a strong service industry, strong tech industry, strong mining industry, and thriving oil&gas industry. It’s also a strong financial hub. It also has a strong Bio lab/pharmaceutical industry. Many quality universities there too.
It’s also a country with mostly peaceful and law abiding citizens. The Canadian armed forces /military are comptent and have modern technology/weapons at their disposal.
Canada is very different but also very similar to the US when it comes down to language and customs.
In recent years:
1. roe and wade killed in the U.S Supreme Court and overturned nationwide( MAGA/reactionary authoritarian fascists want pure white women of European ancestry or ethnically white-adjacent/ white-passing women(like westernized/americanized born Latinas, Arabs, Persians, and half Asian hapas) to produce as many children as possible in the USA)
2. DEI/affirmative action programs killed in U.S Supreme Court/White House presidential executive orders ( we know white women are probably the biggest beneficiaries of these programs)
Now trump and his gang are maybe plotting a potential invasion of Canada and its annexation to the United States( We will see if he’s bluffing or not sooner or later)
