"You welcome" is a mispronunciation just like "you're welcome" is. Black people tend to drop the last sound in words, in this case, the "r" sound, making "you're" sound like "you". This isn't a grammar mistake like you're implying.

Now ask @yo moms to say "you're welcome" and I bet you don't sound anything like him. So why is your mispronunciation okay but not the next man's?
