Many people praise the option of overtime. Heard it my whole life, you should get you a city job , they give alot of overtime, you can clear xxx amount. It's a good job!
If that's his best ticket for now nothing wrong with it. He making the best and taking the opportunity he has at this time. I would never shyt kn him.
But doing all those hours of overtime is not the move long term.

He is working 3 x more hours than those individuals. It's not to shyt on him but his next move should be to reduce those hours and maintain a better pay rate per hour.

He getting low pay for all those hours. It’s not a flex at all. Overtime is generally not a good look. It means the company is understaffed short term which is a problem. It also means you shift work life balance in favor of work, less sleep, and poorer health for a few more table scraps. If its your only option to make much needed money I’m not gonna knock you but don’t think its a flex.
Looks like the fool might be playing with the time clocks. And thinks nobody paying attention.
