Do yall even use the term? Is it still a thing? What is hipster in this day and age? I'm almost 30 so I tend not to care about society as far as US cliques and subculture go. But I'm curious if y'all have nikkas with odd haircuts and political stances like my wave did around 06-08. Seems like hipsters died out or did I just stop drinking coffee?

That era kinda died around 2013-2014 to be honest.

I rarely hear it even being used as an insult like it was heavily from 2010-2012.

As a black breh, I never considered myself hipster tho others did. Tho I will admit thrifting, music blogging, record shopping, DIY shows, sleeping with electic chicks in their studio apartments was all the worthwhile and some of it I still partake in.

I look back on the period from 2010-2015 pretty fondly to be honest, makes me curious as to what the next big subculture awaits the youth.
