Sheesh

l.o. had that easy game*
we got all the style on this side*
.
That was a fun year. That one year he was in Miami with (then a rookie) Dwyane Wade was probably his best year. He plays much better with the ball in his hands. Always felt playing with Kobe would kill that aspect of his game.
Wished we could have kept him in the trade for Shaq but Lakers asked give up Wade or Odom and Riley wasnt about to let Wade go after he saw his enormous impact as a rookie.
I was following him since his sophmore year in HS. Dude was a 6'3 PG who shot up six inches (n/h) in one summer and came back 6'9.![]()
Being a little kid watching him play at iS8, he was like something out of a video game . He was dominating dudes at a time when Nyc was pumping out high major players every year. I wish YouTube was around back then because some of those Riverside Church versus Long Island Panthers games were incredible but nobody has any footage.Indeed.That was a fun year.
That team was like a team ahead of its time. No big man just wings doin their thingIndeed.
Only down side as that Brian Grant flat out sucked when he was with us.
- Rookie Wade playing point guard.
- Caron Butler in his second year at SF
- Eddie Jones holding down the SG spot (tho he was starting to decline)
- Odom playing PF
Funny thing was that we all saw Odom putting up the numbers and initially thought he was carrying the team. It's about after 40+ games that we realized the team couldnt win without Wade. Every game Wade's injury prone ass missed was an automatic loss it seems. I remember me and my boy were looking at the stat and All together the team was like 5-18 in games Wade didnt play. Meanwhile games that Odom missed or didnt play well we played just fine. That's when the fans and the team realized Wade was our real MVP as we went for that playoff run.
Thus why i laugh when clown in here talk shyt saying Wade wasnt shyt without/before Shaq. Wade was a major reason why the team went from lottery to 2nd round of the playoffs in one year and even led the team in scoring in the playoffs.
