What you're referring to is called clandestine or irregular masonry by some.
It's still masonry though and there are many similarities between the groups.
The main difference is that one is seen by one power as being the authentic one while seen as phony by the other.
The same thing you said about the "cac euro" version is what they would say about The Moorish Science temple.

The video is from 1983 so clearly he was a high level mason while he was at the noi. To try and separate the noi hierarchy from the masonic orders by stating that EM was a mason but not the same kind is cool but it doesn't discredit the points of the video of showing freemasonry with the noi.

Let me clarify what I meant by the bolded. Freemasonry under the Grand Lodge would say that Moorish Science is clandestine Freemasonry. Moorish Science would say something negative about Freemasonry under the Grand Lodge. They wouldn't call it cac euro, they would just say it wasn't the real thing.
