Two separate pieces here; Genetic differences in athletic abilities, and selfish/unselfish basketball styles.
On the first, there is science involved that as far as I know doesn't prove or disprove anything.
On the second, the general idea that many of the white players don't come from the hood, where a larger amount of the black players have, could have some truth to where the style of play comes from.
If your white suburbia with a decent upbringing, the world is your oyster, do whatever you feel like pursuing.
If your a black inner city child from a broken home, you probably don't feel the same about life as the aforementioned white guy.
Maybe that carries over into how you approach sports?
