I will say I can't pile on little man. I've never been in the situation of asking for a date back in grade school. The first dance I went to was in middle school, and the girl asked me. In high school, I was in a relationship all four years, so my homecoming & prom date were already taken care of. If he takes anything from this, I hope he learns the importance of being discreet. I'm sure she was cute and he wanted the notoriety of bagging her, but you have to actually bag her first before you attempt to go public. And nikkas calling this girl names and wishing single parenthood on her should be ashamed.








She's a kid who was put in an awkward spot. It's not like she clowned him. If some girl I wasn't attracted to gathered a crowd and asked me out publically, I'm not about to lie. It's a respectful, "No, but thank you," in both public and private, only in the latter, you're setting yourself up for not only rejection, but self inflicted embarrassment. If he learns anything from this, it should be to keep your private life private. Some girls are messy and will clown you privately after rejecting your advances, and almost all of them will tell at least one of their friends, but what you don't know won't kill you, and many will appreciate your discretion. Two or three people knowing you were rejected is preferable to several hundred because you wanted to stunt for social media.
