He was saying he completely understood why Metro didnt clear the song. He saying Metro told Drake INITIALLY that his mom passed as a polite way of saying he didn't want him on the album. We will see but I dont think Metro falling out with Thug over that.

I think you took that out of context. He's saying he used his mother's death as a blowoff to Drake because in reality, he didn't want Drake on the album. He wasn't saying it like he was sensitive or soft
