:rudy: Stoner and Danny Glover are HITS.

I despise Stoner, but its a hit heavy rotation all over the radio...

nikkas really dont go outside huh?
To be fair I think he's from Cali and ive never heard any of young thugs music on the local radio either. He literally has no buzz in Cali or at least the bay. We have our own sound poppin right now in Cali, we arent on that autotune wave.

At the time I hated on Lil B, because he was imo, the first real internet cult status rapper. This was when the gimmicks just a few years ago was coming of age.

The irony is, Im Gay made me a fan of his. It was his answer that he couldn't be anything more than said gimmick. I respected Lil B a whole lot after that.

I didnt know a damn thing about YT until a few months ago. But he used the same lane; Internet, gimmick.
I just don't see it.

Lil B is someone I respect for spreading positivity by dumbing it down to a broad audience. You got to spoon feed people in this age.

But in what way is Young Thug a gimmick? He's a typical ATL trap rapper with a unique voice/delivery... The way he dresses, or his Blood lingo is just who he is

A gimmick is something forced

not every up and comer needs to be supported. thats why atl is so fukking wack. if you can make it in la you know you got potential to actually do something. the rapper of the month in atl is usually :camby: status.

imagine if the nfl allowed every fat out of shape middle aged guy to come play, it would be weak. only the best of the best get a real chance.

ATL is supportive but they do not support any and everyone.

You know how many rappers in ATL who've been trying to get on for the longest but will just stay local.
