it's inspiration, and it's also a mental escape, for 4 minutes an unemployed cat who can't even pay his child support can feel like he's a big shot. that's why it works, it's that feeling of hope, the allure of the idea that they can one day become this too. and, maybe an even more apparent reason is people worship money and excess, isn't this common sense?
