Don't Believe the Hype
Makes sense, he went from AZ to Slim Shady style after fukking with the Outz. But he chose to put on wack ass D12 instead of the superior Outsidaz.
Exactly.

I listened to that Slim Shady EP or Infinite - whichever it was - and you could tell Em definitely was listening to Doe or Die by AZ HEAVY while recording that record.

I alos wondered why Em didn't choose Outz as a crew to run with. Pace Win and Young Zee and Rah Digga were hella dope.

He probably felt more obligated to help out D12 because he knew them longer and promised to put them on if he got signed. It was actually Bizarre who connected with the Outz first before Em did

Pace and I think Zee were on the original Ammvtyiille record off MMLP. I’ve heard that Dre asked Pace to re-write his verse and he didn’t react that so well and got scrapped.

Why would he choose them as his crew to run with and they weren’t the day ones :mjlol:

Slim Shady EP wasn't Em at his peak rhyming abilities, as dope as he was he improved drastically after that.

Pace and them dropped the ball with the opportunity to be on the Marshal Mathers LP

It’s common knowledge 97-99 era was just him sounding like a mixture of Outsidaz and Masta Ace. shyt, he was basically a part of that group damn near, at one point.

That’s why it was corny he didn’t give them their credits/just due/flowers at the R&RHOF. He couldn’t keep biting AZ cause it was too obvious, but this group who was only semi known was perfect for him to attach himself to.

His speech was basically people he thought should be nominated on the behalf of Hip Hop, I wouldn't say they fit that bill.

"Put a thousand lighters in the air for the Outsidaz"
