Tough choice for me but I'm gonna say....

1a. Urban Hang Suite - classic album. It actually got shelved for a year or two because the label didn't think he'd be a star. SMH

1b. Embrya - this album was SO dope and ahead of it's time that the critics panned it heavily(you can see the scores on the Wikipedia link). It was weird to me at first too b/c it was so different from the 1st album. But over time you "got it" and what he was trying to do and then you could appreciate it. Definitely NOT an album you can fully judge/review on one listen.

Never been a fan, but it seems that everyone else mess with him heavy. I can't knock him too much; he been in the game for a while now.

Embrya hands down.

Idk bout OP bcuz I "got it" on the 1st listened. No need to skip a song just let it play all the way thru. Plus that's the only one I bought from the store and didn't d/load and the lyrics were printed in the label. Yes I read them shyts too lol

The critic response shocked me too. I think maxwell said the record company forced him to go in another direction after embrya. They need to be slapped for that shyt
