Having a husband won't stop me from being beaten, raped, and killed unless he's with me 7 days per week and 24/hours per day. It's not realistic or practical. And what about teenage girls? College students moving to a dorm room and away from family in a new city? This take is much worse because it paints men as savages who are unable to be controlled. So should women not leave the house at all until marriage? And then stay home always? Being attacked in public has nothing to do with anything but the person who made the decision to assault another person.

Thats the harsh realities of the world. Anybody can get it. Im a man a gun owner and im not guaranteed to come home safely. Im a protector for my daughters and my wife and mom, im not with them 24/7 so the best i can do if something happens to them is REACT. I cant assume that someone is always gonna step in for them because the average man or woman is not the black communities bodyguard. My advice to you is to use common sense, dont place yourself in situations where you can have a conflict, and get you a gun.

I agree completely. I have a husband, father, two brothers, pepper spray, a taser, and a gun. And I agree with everything else you said and basically said the same thing as the bolded in my prior comments.

It be the same when you comment on social media "I don't care about police response times, Ive got a gun, ive got my health, I'll either be dead and it won't be my problem or I'm calling the police because I shot the criminal myself."

"Well well we will see, you're probably the first person to call when your car gets broken into!"

"Ok tough guy, when you get into a car accident, hopefully no one calls the police! And you die on the side of the road!"
---"I don't care if the police come, if I'm injured, I want an ambulance!"

"Well when your kids or wife get raped or hurt, you'll want the police then!"

They get mad when your self sufficient and pray that you need them.

i'm not on social media but from what i can tell on here people love to make themselves a victim even if it comes down to projection and taking stuff out of context lol. you can not even be thinking about anybody but your own life and lifestyle when posting on a topic and some random will come trying to "read" you because they took it as an offense to their life. :mjlol: like..... i don't know you, who cares.

if you want a man to fight for you, ok.
if you want a woman to call you her hero, ok.
tf that gotta do with me :yeshrug:
if we all made the same moves, we would all lose.
