Your opinion on Remastered games

I don't mind if they're from 2-3 generations ago, but when they're doing shyt for games on PS3/360 I'm like

I'm not gonna cough up more dough for a game just for better graphics.

I like it, but think they could do like Nintendo is doing and remaster games from more than 1 generation ago.

Endlessly bickering about how we are getting jerked and how the gaming industry today is remaster remaster when it's all up for choice. Not everyone played the games you don't want so it doesn't really matter. Remasters don't prevent new games from coming out which people keep erroneously assuming.

Remasters from a game that came out 10+years ago (PS2 era and older) are ok. (Wind Waker HD, Grim Fandango HD, Oddworld New n Tasty)

Remasters of last gen games (PS3/360) are fine as long as they come with significant changes, better performance, extra content, a collection pack, lowered price and in some cases never came out in certain parts of the world.(GTA5, FF Type 0)

Remasters of games that came out no later than 5 years ago with little changes other than "Uprezzed to 1080p, and now running at 60 fps", and sold at near full price when you can get the last gen versions for less than a softbuck is bullshyt. (God of War 3 remaster)

If not for TLOU being remastered, I probably would have never played it.
All in all, I actually anticipate remasters, primarily Sonys. I was a 360 guy so I have no complaints about classic PS3 games being remastered.
Even if I have played them, I just choose to not buy it if I don't want it.

I would love to see Mass Effect Trilogy done again with all the content BUT that will never happen. Or Knights of the Old Republic, Im pretty sure a lot of gamers would love to play that

These versions aren't aimed at the PS3 toting, " I can just buy it for $5 at gamestop!" crowd. Some PS4 users don't have PS3s anymore or never had one. To them, it's like a new game.

A lot of PS3 remastered are coming out because Sony realized they had a lot of 360 gamers flocking to their side.
