Now they come with a build-in slide to block the camera, which is funny cause it's the microphones that need to be blocked.
Yeah my work laptop has it. I rarely open my laptop unless it's a teams meeting though. We well into the big brother era. We all have smartphones lol.

Why would I care if my TV takes screenshots of what's on my screen? :dahell:
Why would I care if my car compiles information on my driving habits and can send it to my car insurance provider?

Why would I care if Internet Service Providers (ISPs) can use Wi-Fi signals to detect motion and infer presence in my home?

Why would I care if insurers are able to subpoena the companies of wearables (fitbit) in order to verify my claims of permanent injury?

Why would I care if retailers track my movement throughout their stores for dynamic pricing?

Why would I care about ultra-sonic cross device tracking?

Why would I care if websites can track my unique typing rhythm, mouse movement patterns, and even how much pressure I apply to a touchscreen in order to verify for "continuous authentication" to ensure the person using my device hasn't changed? This means a profile of my unique motor skills is constantly being updated and stored. But why would I care about any of that?

What did you expect? You bought an 80” tv for $297. They’re not making money off the tv.

The TV isn’t the product. You’re the product!

It amazes me how in 2026 people are still shocked and dumbfounded about what happens when you CHOOSE to connect to the WORLD WIDE WEB

The Truth
I saw a clip where a family finally looked at the Alexa log and it had recorded everything they said, not just "Alexa" commands. It's Amazon so of course it's to do the most while providing the least.

Yeah I’m sure there’s a log somewhere. I don’t use none of that shyt so idk. I only fukk with Apple because they are more private than other companies (supposedly).

But use none of that smart home bullshyt if you value your privacy.

Unless you smart enough to fukk with the privacy setting before you use it. Which I think they have to atleast ask you

Some food for thought. Having no footprint is a footprint itself.

Have one secure device. Assume everything else is compromised.
