Your thoughts on Geno Smith?

Geno had 7 seven scores to only two turnovers in his last four games of the regular season. He was second in QBR, behind only Peyton. Does anyone think he turned the corner last season? Is he starting material?

Its a make or break year for him this year. He has shown flashes, but when he is off, he is terrible. You just can't afford to be that bad and your throws be so far off. We'll see what happens this year, but honestly he's not the answer the Jets are looking for.

His inconsistency makes him that much more likeable to me

you never know what will happen on the field when the Jets step on it, and Geno embodied that. Hope they can get Marquise Lee and some more weapons for him

Dude played like the rookie he was. He had good moments and bad ones. Geno gonna be a good QB for a long time, Jets gotta get some damn recievers

Jets' offense started playing better when Geno began using his legs:

When he does his 5 step drop he never takes steps up sometimes and ends up getting sacked for like 15yd, those plays boiled me

But let's see what he or mark can do this year with a few decent WRs and a consistent secondary

I think he has the potential to be a great playmaker, but he needs weapons to throw to, and the offense needs to be simplified so that less pressure is put on him to save the game, but he needs to be DEVELOPED. He is better than Mark Sanchez, imo, though, Jets fans need to be patient, you gotta give him at minimum another 2 years to see what you have.
