Mobb Deep - Hell on Earth
Capone-N-Noreaga - The War Report
Cannibal Ox - The Cold Vein
Eightball & MJG - On Top Of The World
UGK - Super Tight
We got 3 of the same duos and 2 of the same albums:myman:

And I love seeing On Top of the World receive it's just due from posters. In my opinion, that is when the South made its most quality music(mid 90s)

Does OB4CL count? Ghost is listed as the "co-star" on the cover, obviously not an official duo
Mobb Deep definitely could have multiple albums on many lists.

OB4CL always felt like a duo project

Twinz - Conversation

Can't believe I forgot both Dah Shinin AND Nocturnal :snoop:
I just did mine quick off the top of the head but now seeing some other lists I realize mine not really accurate

I guess I'm gonna sub out Dillinger & Young Gotti for Conversation cause production wise its flawless (imo)

Realistically I cant leave off Camp Lo, guess I'm adding that and dropping EPMD, which hurts my heart to do

Not sure how I forgot about Dead Prez, RBG is gonna bump Ghetto Mafia out the mix

I dont wanna leave no representation from Boot Camp but I'm not dropping Dogg Food or DFC...these top 5s are too hard, I rather do separate lists for era and region, this shyt is stressful lol

A lot of dope lists ppl posting, making me wanna revisit a lot of older albums, not having UGK and Ball & G on the list seems blasphemous too but I'm backed into a corner here

My list got some under the radar picks Ill admit so I'm not declaring anything this is just me personally

  1. Dogg Fodd by The Dogg Pound (GOAT duo album shyt is just so fun to listen to)
  2. Rated G by Top Authority
  3. F.B.I. by The Dayton Family
  4. In our Lifetime Vol 1 by 8Ball & MJG
  5. Ridin Dirty by UGK
Damn, Top Authority and Dayton Family is a big part of my rotation during the early/mid 90s...I'm gonna mark them ineligible for me as they're technically trios
