I was at Panera Bread the other day and I asked the cashier for some water in a cup. This chick gives me an empty cup and directs me to the beverage section. So, I hurry on over there to fill my cup with water while I wait for my order to be prepared and then I realized...I could fill my cup with ANYTHING.

I filled it up with some real lemonade and went about my day. I was living dangerously.


You can also get away with this shyt at Chick Fil A if you ask for a refill I've just realized.

Panera is modeled after the smaller Saint Louis bread co which they bought out. They trust people will do the right thing. I remember they had a store In STL where you could order whatever and pay what you could afford. It's a trust based system. People would usually pay more than what the food was worth.
