‘True Lies’ Movie Rebooted As TV Series By Fox With McG, Marc Guggenheim & James Cameron Producing

True Lies, James Cameron’s hit 1994 action comedy movie, is headed to television. Fox has given a put pilot commitment to an hourlong reboot of the film, which comes from McG, Arrow co-creator Marc Guggenheim, Cameron’s Lighthouse Entertainment and 20th Century Fox TV.

They've been trying to do a sequel to this movie for years. It fell apart after 9/11 for obvious reasons and this seems to be the best way for Cameron to get this out and the idea itself is ripe for tv.

McG gave me pause but if he's a part of this as much as he's a part of Lethal Weapon, then it's all good.
