not to mention it's based on the goat Japanese producer, Akira kurosawa, movie the seven samurai. Yeah I know it's based on the first remake of that but I prefer to think of the goat instead and the producer said that is who he sought for inspiration

Denzel really is one of the GOATs
I always thought that movie roles where someone has to give an air of authority or as a leader take a damn good actor to be convincing. I totally forgot it was Denzel and he came off as a genuine leader of a rag tag band of misfits.
