  • I want a PG when more Assists than shot attempts
  • I need a starting 5 & one off the bench to score with their back to the basket--that's how we space the floor to open up the long range game
  • Defense first: Goal is to score 20 a quarter and allow only 10 (80-40 :troll: wins)
  • Go for athletic wings with footwork, who want to defend
  • Big rotations - I want to utilize 10 guys a night

since teams are really into the dribble, drive, and kick out to the perimeter these days, i would run some sort of hybrid zone scheme.

rebound and run.

Now who else wanna fukk with Hollywood Court?
Own the boards, limit any and all second chance points, and defend.

I'd tell management I want at least one goon from the developmental league that's like 26 and getting his first crack at the league, somebody around 6'9" 260lbs that can't do anything but be physical and rebound. Tell him he's got 6 hard fouls and I'll pay the fines for his flagrant 2s if he gets any.

What I do on offense is predicated on what type of players they give me, I tell you this much one of them better be a talented young big man, and I will spend however long it takes to develop that person to run offense through them.

They are too hard to find for it to be first on my list, if I had Drummond & Monroe I'd probably lose my job for benching Jennings and running set after set through Drummond.

He'd finish the game with 10 turnovers, and 7 ugly hooks, but 2 or 3 would go in :blessed: Progress.

my only concern would be having a big guy who would be able to pass out of the double team. Dwight can't do it. as good as Andrew's footwork is, he isn't that good at it either. So if i were to run my entire offense thru the post, i would, a) need him to know how to pass out of the double, b) have a wing who can create his own shot. and i aint talking about a guy who can hoist up 3s.

Bro! I'd play Jennungs in 1 min spurts and have him jack up as many shots as possible

The other 35 mins; Greg Ball

Square biz: I haven't seen a full game yet, but, I live that front court on paper

@TheNig Great point about the catching it off the perimeter

He can't be one dimensional

Triangle Offense. Let my team work its way through adversary so I won't call that many timeouts.

Forreal though Phil was amazing for not calling that many timeouts. He made watching the game fun cause all those damn commercial breaks slowed the game down. Most #LWO nikkas disagree with me and hate Phil for it :manny: . He said in one of his books that he coached that way with the fans in mind. He knew too many commercials took away from the game.:banderas:.

I want them to take shots, because you miss the shots you don't. We'll take all types of shots, to try to get points.
