yes actually, because if police pull you over you tell them you just bought the car because you'll have bill of sale with date and the title.

I've done it a few times but it was within a couple of miles with someone else's plates but just cuz u bough the car doesn't give u the right to drive without plates or registration. You could lose the car that way

well thats the thing dude you have 30 days to transfer a title, if you get pulled over immediately on the way from buying the only thing they could say is make sure you get the title transfered and insured within 30 days of the date on the bill of sale

i bought and sold cars on craigslist before...always counted the money in the house and usually someone used someone elses bathroom.

i had a homie that sold a car on craigslist...didnt want the dude coming to his house so they met at taco bell. i was like

well any responsible person would take the car straight up to the dmv and call their insurance company and have the car insured asap.

only a dikkhead cop would have your car impounded when you have concrete proof that you just bought the car that same day
