The other day some dude was like how can you like Illmatic?you were just being born that same damn month. I forgot people arent allowed to listen to older music.

It was the same situation today when I brought home my 28 year old cousin from the air force and he wonders why do I have a Nintendo 64 in my room saying "Son you were mad young for 64, how the hell did you have one"

He's 24-25ish. He works in university library with me.

He like 4-5 years older than me.

I feel too old for some of this music sometimes. Doesn't mean I'll stop enjoying it. I have plenty of old and new music to listen to and reference at a moment's notice.

With that said age shouldn't limit music appreciation. Half of one's life is back cataloguing.
