YouTube especially needs to do something about it's content creators spoiling everything. These a$$holes use crucial moment thumbnails and titles with spoilers and upload the shyt to YouTube. You watch a video reviewing something you're interested in and in typical YouTube fashion they're pushing more related videos at you including some videos with important moment thumbnails at the end of a game or tv / anime / movie reviews where people use spoiler thumbnails and titles.

It's gotten to the point where you have to watch everything in theater mode, you can never read comments and always avoid looking at related or suggested videos because the site has become a unmoderated cesspool. let somebody play 5 seconds of a song in their video and they'll be on them so fast though.

I've never seen an online site care so little about it's users. They just let this stuff happen. All they have to do is say if you spoil media in your title or thumbnail monetization on that video will be removed and overnight that problem will stop.

I never beat Uncharted 4 for example but thanks to YouTubers posting spoiler thumbnails and titles I know crucial points of the ending and I'm only half done with the game. Sometimes navigating that site is like walking through a mine field.

That's a problem. You shouldn't have to jump through hoops and create all these unusual rules on how to use their site because the only thing they police there is copyright law and even that is done poorly. If there's one site on the internet that deserves to go under it's YouTube.

Public sites where people can post whatever they want require real moderation. You can't expect a community to self-police itself. What's YouTube's solution? This nonsense:

They been doing this shyt for years

Nothing worst than being subscribed to a channel with mobile alerts set and you get an alert literally 5 minutes after a show airs and you look down at your phone and see spoilers in the title :snoop:

Even worst is when these a$$holes read spoilers on tye internet and then upload a video with the freaking spoilers in the title :stopitslime:

It's definitely a problem. I'll be watching clips of a show I've already seen and sometimes, all I have to do is type in a characters name and Youtube immediately lists the character's death or a major plot point in the results.
