I remember they tried this one way where the video just wouldn't play if you had the adblockers on.
the people who make the ad blockers figured a way around that

Just get YouTube premium. It's not that much and it's 10 times better.

The best part about YouTube premium is you can keep YouTube on even when your phone screen is off so you can listen to music or podcasts from YouTube while you are walking around or in your car.

I think it's better than having to deal with ads.

I actually find ads insulting the few times I come across them. They're unexpected and intrusive so I make a mental note not to buy the shyt from whomever is peddling them unless it is something I wanted without the ad, which isn't much.

I’m a cheap mf and I’m not paying for something that was free for years just to avoid ads. I see why they wanna block adblock tho cuz there’s a workaround to watch vids with your phone screen off.
