There's no such thing as industry plant. No artist is an actual plant. The phrase comes from less talented artists that look the part , getting the corporate push n suddenly they're a superstar, after seemingly grinding for a short period of time.

Yes that does happen. But calling it industry plant makes it sound sinister. When all it is...is corporate investing in artists they feel like they can recoup from quicker. (Not based on talent just look, sound, story) Therefore making the actual talented artists feel slighted. Like the game is rigged
