Yugioh on Gameboy Advance was the shyt

I dont know if any of yall was old enough to have a Game Boy Advance in 2003, but when Yugioh came out for it, nikkas used to do that game link shyt in school and duel eachother all the time durin recess..



I still got my copy of the game.

my cousins used to always hype up that one but I aint ever played it... only Yugioh I played on the Playstation was the first one "Forbidden memories" which I got for my birthday in 2003... it was hard as fukk to play cus the rules were hella different and you had shyt to memorize plus the computer cheated like fukk. but the music was pretty good.

this song was my favorite personally. cus of how slow and dark it is with that melody in it.



used to remind me of them 90s Sacramento beats that I grew up listenin to

but yea, props for Konami goin all out with the Egyptian theme. the setting of half the game is in egypt and even the music has that Egyptian Nile feel to it

This was back when the actual cards came with a number on the bottom that you could enter into the game to get a digital copy of the card. Once I got my hands on that Becket guide with all the pics of the cards it was a wrap, I was on.

I used to fukk nikkas up with my Masked Beast, Cosmos Queen, Buster Blader, and Serpent Night Dragon... I used to run a mix of Joey & Pegasus starter decks with a bunch of shyt from the mini packs (used to have hella 1500 & 1800 attack monsters along with high defense ones like Mystic Elf and a few others I cant really remember. after a while when all them weird packs started coming out with Des Lacota and the rest of the Des animals, I settled down with a Zombie deck. them Gravekeepers wasnt no joke)

during PE one day, I came back to the locker room to find out all my cards were stolen out of my backpack in my locker thats when I said fukk it and quit collecting cards

they both got their strengths and weaknesses. yall know how nikkas used to always be tryin to cheat and shyt. plus cards can get damaged. same with those paper mats... and Duel Disks was hard to fit in the backpack cus the long ass edge piece... even when it was folded up, the edge used to stick out
