Has nothing to do with coaching. If anything the coaches we’ve had have been put in a bad position with trash project players like Frank and Knox and a team that can’t attract good players.

We on our fourth coach they all feel the same about that scrub. His own FIBA coach had him coming off the bench as one of the few NBA guys.

I am not going to debate who has sucked more

So it’s early but Jalen Wilson and Terrence Clarke are my two top picks for that Mavs pick. I got them both being there outside the lottery in the 16-20 range.

Wilson looks a lot like Marcus Morris the more he plays, It would be a real good look to have him coming off the bench.

Side note Kansa really tried to get Wilson and Cade together and if they did I think Wilson would be lottery bound and Kansas would be elite 4 bound at least.

Ya’ll are wild.

I can respect it if you think both Frank or Knox are scrubs or both have potential because the coaching ain’t been shyt since Woodson left.

Ain’t no way we should be debating who has sucked more or less. They the same in all ways that matter.....

The only things they share are that they were super raw players that were drafted with development in mind and that they were obviously flawed on one end of the floor but had requisite skills that were NBA ready on the other side of the floor...and they were both among the three youngest players in their draft classes.

But they're basically polar opposites besides that. Knox has huge offensive upside that you want to unlock and defensive holes that you just want to bring up to competent. Frank has clear defensive upside (anyone arguing against this is reaching point blank) and offensive flaws that you just need to bring up to competent for him to become a valuable contributor.

I always wonder if the patience vs impatience with prospect thing relates to whether people got into basketball before or after the one and done rule got implemented. I've got nothing to go off on that, but I feel like prior to that rule you'd get a lot more super raw prospects drafted that took time to become finished products. Trevor Ariza being the first name that comes to mind.

Honestly the only thing that matters to me is that they are both underperforming. They do it in different ways, but it’s time for both of them to put up and show improvement.

I'm not even sure how badly they're actually underperforming relative to their respective ages. If I could figure out how to export the stats for players aged 21 and under to excel, I could probably pull out some relative comparisons in half an hour that would be fun for future prospect discussions too. But what I generally see is that the studs of the 21 and under crew get propped up big whereas I think the majority of NBA players that young are not starting caliber, inefficient or both...but I'm speculating for now.

Most teams would have traded both Frank and Knox a long time ago. Every young player that struggles isn't a late bloomer than turns into Steve Nash at 29. They said Trier was supposed to be the next Jamal Crawford but he cant even find a team.

Knox is what? 20/21. Frank is 24/25. Been in the league 3 years so far. Knox been here 2 full seasons. Knox had 1 bad year. Frank had 3 bad years. :jbhmm:

Knox played behind one of the best SF/PF combos in Morris who starts on the clippers.

Frank played behind Elfrid Payton, Mudiay, Burke, Dennis Smith, all who are not starters, yet they're both bums.

12/11 can't come sooner.
